Having jumped head-first and immersing myself into this unknown world of design, I have learnt quite a lot about mostly tech related things such as what software to use, different apps that I should utilize to further not only my learning and understanding of design but to also be able to communicate what I think to others in my degree based on not having any prior knowledge of pretty much anything related to design.

A couple disciplines that I am intrigued by would be digital animation, interactive and industrial design.

Having watched TV shows (mostly shows on Animal Planet) and anime growing up as a kid, I am very interested in making things enjoyable and grabbing the attention of the audience as well as being versatile and experimenting with different mediums and genres. I also have an interest in industrial design and designing things to assist people in need such as animal prosthetics, inspired by hardworking mother who is a nurse and my love for animals.

As for my future, by the time I finish this design course, I would be able to comfortably and efficiently use different software and machinery and that I'll know why I am designing a product and have designing methods at my disposal to aid me during upcoming projects. I would like to collaborate with as many people across as many different work fields as possible to widen my perspective on the world and to learn more and more new things from people that know about them best. Though realistically, I would choose to work with making products like prosthetics for animals of any shape and size like Morry who had his leg amputated in a leg hold trap (SPCA New Zealand, 2020) as I find that I wouldn't get bored or tired of it, knowing that what I would be working towards is making a difference and helping animals out. As for digital art and animation, I see myself continuing to create works for personal entertainment.
