This is my chosen haiku

You stupid scarecrow! Under your very stick-feet Birds are stealing beans! - Yayu

This my final poster and I used a collage technique to make this poster. The idea that I got from the haiku I had chosen was anger. I got this idea of anger from thinking about the scarecrow's perspective and how I would feel if I were to be told that. Another reason as to why I thought of anger would be how the scarecrow is an inanimate object and being so irritated to the point where you take your frustrations out on something that won't reply back. To express this idea of anger, I used made very sharp and spiky triangles and quadrilaterals to convey this idea of anger, by placing them in a jumbled up fashion shows disarray and to express how one feels when filled with anger.

I used a contrast of the black background and the white outlining to contrast and emphasize the sharp shapes.
